Social Strategist

The digital media strategist will be responsible for championing growth on both internal and external social media platforms. They will have a deep understanding of social media and be able to craft posts that drive engagement and lead to conversions. 

Digital Media Content Strategist will: 

  • Report directly to the COO to present new initiatives and growth strategies 
  • Mange the NowCities platforms (7+) Instagram accounts and post daily 
  • Plan, execute and deliver effective social media campaigns with measurable KPIs
  • Deliver reports and online metrics for campaigns and provide insights and recommendations 
  • Utilize appropriate features of various social media platforms to grow reach and boost engagement 
  • Utilize the brand’s persona and voice to create effective campaigns
  • Manage the online reputation/presence of the brands by communicating and engaging with social media networks
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies on social media for internal and external brands 
  • Develop original content to increase community engagement
  • Oversee, plan and deliver content across social platforms using scheduling software such as Hootsuite and Facebook Creator Studio 
  • Amplify the stories of the news team through engaging social media posts
  • Craft sponsored content in a voice that fits the Now Cities persona while appearing organic 
  • Create content calendars for clients that align with their business goals
  • Project manage digital campaigns from ideation to completion
  • Manage long-term large-scale campaigns on the Now Cities platforms including content creation, client communication, ongoing analytics and reporting.
  • Cross-post relevant content in daily newsletters 


  • 2+ years of experience managing social media accounts 
  • Extensive experience in professional writing 
  • Excel in written communication
